Storylines

Here you will find a brief synopsis of the storylines within the Gundam Wing Series.  For those of you who haven't seen the series, this will be rather new.  Those of you who have seen the series, this is kind of a re-hash.  The better storylines are in the character descriptions, but that is another issue all-together.  So here we go:

Gundam Wing begins in the era of A.C. (After Colony - after the creation of spacecolonies inhabited by humans). War is constant on Earth, while the space colonies live in relative peace. The most of the wars on earth finally ended around 175 A.C. At this point, the Earth government established the "Earth Sphere Alliance" as a military power. This organization was to promote peace on Earth and throughout the space colonies.  Unknown to the general public, the Alliance Military was only a puppet for the industrialist group, The Romefeller Foundation under the leadership of an organization called Oz.
 

In the name of peace, the Alliance's Military's army under Oz leadership, seized control of all space colonies and crushed all oppositions with robot-like fighting machines known as Mobile Suits. After two decades of oppression, a group of rebels within the space colonies decided to strike back against the iron grip of the Earth Alliance any further. With the help of the 5 scientists who first developed the mobile suits, the rebels created five super fighting mobile suit machines, known as Gundams.  However, no ordinary pilots can control these machines due to their advanced technology. Therefore, 5 children with completely different backgrounds and personalities were adopted and trained from a very young age to pilot the Gundam mobile suits.
Their mission: destroy the Earth Alliance and any other threat to peace and freedom

Endless Waltz is both the sequel and the prequel for Gundam Wing. It is set after the events on A.C. 195, where Earth has finally achieved peace. World Nation leader Treize Khushrenada has been slain and White Fang leader Zechs Merquise has been left for dead.  In a time of peace, Gundams were no longer needed, and Quatre proposed the idea of the destruction of the Gundams. All the pilots agree, except for Wufei, who has disappeared with his Mobile Suit after the battle against White Fang.  When the Gundams are collected and sent to a one-way trip to the sun, a crisis breaks out!

Relena Peacecraft, now deputy foreign minister of the Earth Sphere Unified Nation, is abducted during a diplomatic visit to the colony X-18999 at Lagrange point 3. Her captor is the sinister child of Treize Khushrenada, Mariemaia, heir to the Barton Foundation's business empire.  Mariemaia plans to follow in her father's conquering footsteps, and hopes that the former Queen Relena will serve her as a propaganda tool.   Without the Gundams, the 4 Gundam boys face an extremely difficult situation. But unexpectedly, Wufei appeares to be one of the rivals, working for the Barton Foundation. Zechs returns as a Preventer agent codenamed "Wind" or something to that effect, and winds up fighting along side the heroes after the return of their now updated mobile suit.
